Jarett Gerald joined the Mizzou Athletics Fund in January 2026 as Assistant Director of Athletics for Major Gifts. In his role, Gerald is responsible for fundraising initiatives and cultivating major gift support for Mizzou Athletics.
Gerald came to Missouri after spending four years at Duke University, most recently serving as a Major Gifts Officer from 2024–25. Prior to that role, he was Duke’s Director of Revenue Strategy (2023–24) and Associate Director of Administrative Operations (2021–23). He began his career in collegiate athletics as a postgraduate intern at the NCAA during the 2020–21 academic year and previously spent seven years at the University of South Carolina as Special Assistant to the Head Men’s Basketball Coach from 2013–20.
A Columbia, South Carolina native, Gerald is a graduate of the University of South Carolina, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in sport and entertainment management in 2011 and a master’s degree in sport and entertainment management in 2015. While at South Carolina, he was a four-year letter winner in track and field and earned SEC Academic Honor Roll recognition four times.
