REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2015-16)

Went 12-9 in first season as an attached wrestler, competing at 174 pounds.
Posted 10 falls on the season, tied for a team-high.
Made two dual starts, winning his dual debut against Clayton Bass (SIU Edwardsville) via major decision, 15-5 (Nov. 20).
Took second at the Missouri Valley College Open (Feb. 7), scoring falls in the first and second rounds.
Placed fourth at the Roger Denker Open (Jan. 24), scoring falls in all three of his victories.

FRESHMAN (2014-15)

In his redshirt campaign, tallied an 18-11 overall record across six tournaments.
Placed in four of the six tournaments, highlighted by 3rd place finishes at both 2014 Joe Parisi Open and 2015 William Penn Open.
Arguably best showing this season came at 2014 Joe Parisi Open where he went 5-1 en route to third place finish.
His four tournament placements were T-2nd most on the team (trailed only John Erneste and Devin Mellon who had five apiece).
Recorded 12 pins among his 18 season victories.
His 12 Falls this past season made him only 1-of-6 Tigers to record double digit pins.
Fastest fall came in just 1:08 on Dec. 6, 2014 against Batchuluun Zulkuu (Lindenwood).
Best stretch of season came in November - December, going 11-5 overall.

SOUTHEAST POLK HIGH SCHOOL (PLEASANT HILL, IOWA)

Won the state title at 160 pounds his senior year, capping off a perfect season.
His team won the state title twice while he was a member.
Ed Winger Classic Champion in 2013.
Earned All-American status twice at the National Junior Folkstyle Championships.
Was a three-time CIML Conference Champion and a two-time District Champion.
Was named to the Iowa All-State 1st Team.
Had a career record of 142-30 including 30 pins just within his senior season.
Earned letters in wrestling all four years of high school, as well as lettering in cross country once.
Academically, Miklus was a member of the Honor Roll and was a two time All-CIML academic letter winner.

PERSONAL

Tim was born to Garry and Luann Miklus on July 5, 1994, in Des Moines, Iowa.
Has two younger siblings - Erin, Sean - and one older brother, Willie, who is a current member of the Missouri Wrestling team.
