• Placed second at 184 pounds at the Roger Denker Open (Jan. 21), winning two matches by technical fall and one by fall at the tournament.
• Won the UNI Open (Dec. 9) at 184 pounds, defeating Iowa’s Myles Wilson, 5-3, in the finals.
• Placed first at 184 pounds in the freshman/sophomore division at the Lindenwood Open (Nov. 18), winning two matches by bonus points in the process on finishing first.
• Finished fifth at 184 pounds at the Maryville Brand Kaufman Open (Nov. 11), his first collegiate tournament.
