JUNIOR (2018-19)

• After a year at Appalachian State, and a redshirt year at Mizzou, Smith added a 6-2 record in 2018-19
• Debuted with Mizzou in a dual against Illinois with a dominant 15-0 technical fall victory over Josh Contreras at 125
• Defeated Kyle Norstrem 11-4 in a huge dual against eighth ranked Virginia Tech
• Returned to action in the Cliff Keen Invitational, winning four of his first five bouts, before dropping to Travis Piotrowski
• Compiled 33 wins and just 13 losses in his collegiate career after the 2018-19 with ten major decisions, two technical falls, and four falls

SOPHOMORE (2017-18)

• Used redshirted season after transferring, wrestled to a 15-6 record while placing in fourth tournaments and 133 and 141 pounds.
• Finished third at 141 pounds at the Roger Denker Open (Jan. 21), defeating teammate Nick Nasenbeny, 2-1, to claim third.
• Placed third at 133 pounds at the South Scuffle (Jan. 1-2), winning three matches by bonus points in a 5-1 performance at the tournament, including a 15-3 major decision win over North Carolina State’s Jamel Morris in the consolation semifinals.
• Placed fifth at 141 pounds at the UNI Open (Dec. 9), producing a mark of 4-2 at the tournament.
• Went 3-2 and placed fifth at 141 pounds at the Lindenwood Open (Nov. 18).

FRESHMAN (2016-17 AT APPALACHIAN STATE)

• NCAA qualifier at 133 pounds
• Posted a record of 27-11 with 10 major decisions, four falls and one technical fall

WENTZVILLE HOLT HIGH SCHOOL (WENTZVILLE, MO.)

• Three-time Missouri Class 4 State Champion
• Amassed a record of 193-11 under Jason Moore at Wentzville Holt High School
• Named Most Valuable wrestler in Missouri in 2016
