Career Stats

REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2019-20)

  • Posted a 19-6 overall record, with a 2-0 mark in duals and 10 total bonus-point wins, wrestling primarily at 125 pounds
  • Won the Drury Open (Dec. 7) with a 4-0 mark, picking up a pair of pins in his first two bouts of the tournament
  • Wrestled in Mizzou’s dual vs. Central Missouri (Nov. 21), picking up a 14-5 major decision win over CMU’s Dakari Rivers
  • Got into the dual lineup in the win at SIU-Edwardsville to help Mizzou clinch a perfect MAC record, earning a 22-7 technical fall win over Jacob Blaha
  • Also won the Missouri Valley Open, going 4-0 and with four bonus-point wins (two majors, two technical falls)
  • Lost just once when the calendar year flipped to 2020, and that loss came to teammate Noah Surtin at the Roger Denker Open

REDSHIRT SEASON (2018-19)

  • Ended his first year in the Mizzou program with an impressive 22-7 record, tallying six falls and three major decision victories along the way
  • All 29 of his bouts came in tournament action at 125 pounds
  • Debuted in the Maryville Kaufman/ Brand/ Bayly Open where he went 6-1, picking up a fall and technical fall on his way to a third-place finish
  • Returned to action in the Lindenwood Open, winning his first two matches with falls, finishing 4-1 in the tournament, garnering third place honors
  • Took home a fourth-place finish at the UNI Open, with his final victory coming over Skyler Petry of Minnesota
  • Ended his season with five straight victories, including three in the Roger Denker Open, culminating in the top honors
  • 10 of his 22 victories went for bonus points

BEFORE MIZZOU

  • 2018 Missouri State Champion. Alongside Malik Johnson, helped lead CBC to its first team state championship
  • Earned a silver medal at the Junior World finals at 50 kg in 2017, and was the first American to reach the Greco-Roman Junior World finals since 2000
  • Claimed three All-America honors at the Junior Nationals in Fargo, including a third-place finish in freestyle in 2016.
  • Two-time Pan-am Cadet Medalist
  • Plans to major in Kinesiology at Mizzou
