Cody Hendrickson joined Mizzou in January of 2017 as a graduate assistant within academics where he worked with the Enhanced Learning Program, Baseball, Football, Wrestling, Men’s & Women’s Golf, and Women’s Tennis. Hendrickson moved into a full-time academic coordinator role in October of 2020 working with Softball, Women’s Soccer, and Football Walk-Ons and Special Teams. Along with his sport responsibilities, he served as the campus liaison with Summer Welcome and coordinated the SEC attendance policy. Hendrickson was promoted to his current position of Assistant Athletic Director for Student-Athlete Leadership in January of 2023. In his role, Hendrickson oversees the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), community service and engagement initiatives, leadership development, and mental performance. In addition to his role in athletics, he also serves on the Chancellor’s Committee on Student Conduct.
Hendrickson comes to Mizzou from Bemidji State where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with his bachelor’s degree in Sport Management and a minor in Mass Communication in December of 2016.
A native of Harmony, Minnesota, Hendrickson completed his Master of Education in School and Counseling Psychology at the University of Missouri in 2018. He is currently working on his doctoral dissertation to complete his PhD in Educational Leadership & Policy Analysis with an emphasis in Higher Education.
