        Led the conference and was in the top 25 in the nation in hitting percentage, clubbing a        school-record .384 ... earned Academic All-Big 12 honors ... hit over .500 seven times,        including two matches on back-to-back days with a .800 hitting percentage (vs. Creighton        Sept. 10 and Mississippi State on Sept. 11) ... had 8 double-digit kill matches ... had at        least 10 kills in eight of nine matches from Sept. 11-Oct. 9 ... had 11 kills and hit .533        in win over Southeast Missouri State on Sept. 21 ... posted a season and career-best 21        kills and hit .486 against No. 15 Texas A&M on Oct. 9 ... had 18 kills and a .552        hitting percentage against Texas Tech on Oct. 20 ... had 12 kills and hit .750 against        Baylor on Nov. 20 ... hit .526 with 12 kills on Nov. 24 against Oklahoma ... has had at        least five blocks in eight matches this season ... had a season-high eight blocks against        Iowa State on Nov. 10 ... followed that with six blocks against No. 9 Texas on Nov. 14 ...        recorded 20 kills and four blocks in the NCAA Second Round match against Louisville.

2002:
        Boyd missed the Tigers' first 13 matches due to a foot injury...played in 56 games and        started eight matches for Missouri...averaged 1.54 kills per game and 0.48 blocks per game        on the year... had a career-high nine kills twice, against Iowa State and Colorado...        recorded eight kills against Baylor on Nov. 20...had seven kills against Colorado and in        the NCAA Tournament against Northern Iowa...posted a season-high .389 hitting percentage        against Baylor on Nov. 20... set a career-high with four block assists in MU's win over        Oklahoma on Oct. 12...tied that career high with four block assists against Northern Iowa        in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.

        Was a member of the National Honor Society... recognized by "Who's Who Among American High        School Students,"and "Who's Who in Sports"...a three-time all-conference and all-district        performer in volleyball, basketball and track...a member of the KREI Dream Team and was MVP        of the team for two years in volleyball... was a member of the B-104 all-star basketball        team...an honor-roll student all four years.
Personal:
        Majoring in personal financial planning ... hobbies include spending time with        friends...was attracted to MU by "the girls on the team, the coaches, all of the athletic        and academic support that athletics gets and the community of Columbia as a whole" ... says        that she is motivated by the fact that "someone is so sure that they can defeat me." ...        born Lisa Marie Boyd on November 1, 1982.
