Junior (Spring 2006):Went 13-16 overall as a junior, playing primarily in the No. 3 and No. 4 singles positions ... Won her first Big 12 Conference match of the season by defeating Texas Tech's Samantha van der Drift in two sets at the No. 5 position ... Earned No. 3 singles wins victories against Air Force's Christine Abayan, Wichita State's Anna Egorova, Iowa State's Danielle Uscinski and Saint Louis' Ana Renda ... Went 2-0 at the No. 2 spot, picking up wins against Memphis' Andrea Feichtinger and Northern Illinois' Jenny Edner ... Recorded 15 wins in doubles competition to move into 12th place all-time at Mizzou with a career mark of 44-49 ... Went 10-9 in the spring with partner Amanda Pratzel, playing primarily at the No. 2 position ... The duo started the spring season by winning eight of their first nine matches playing at the No. 2 and No. 3 positions ... Finished 3-7 as a doubles tandem with Pratzel in Big 12 matches.
Junior (Fall 2005):Erika Teamed up with Yelena Olshanskaya and finished third in doubles in the Mizzou Three Way, going 2-1 in the tournament...In singles action, Erika defeated St. Louis University's Tara Grant 6-1, 6-2, she also beat Nicole Schneider of Illinois State 6-1, 7-5...In the Mizzou Mock Duals Erika won a close match against Iowa State's Kara Hickey 7-5, 7-5 and joined Olshanskaya to defeat Simosa and Devalte of Kansas State 8-5... In the Wilson ITA Central Regional, Erika and Yelena Olshanskaya defeated Martina Sedevic and Geisy Torres of Colorado in the round of 64.
Sophomore (Spring 2005): Finished her sophomore season third on the club with 20 victories in singles competition and racked up a 15-19 mark in doubles play ... Teamed with Yelena Olshanskaya in doubles competition and grabbed wins over Iowa State and Colorado ...Earned her first Big 12 singles win vs. the Cyclones' Beth Chemel by a 6-3, 6-1 margin ... Also claimed Conference wins against Erin Hunter of Texas Tech (6-2, 6-1), Judith Diaz of Kansas State (6-1, 6-2) and Ashley Filberth of Kansas (6-0, 6-2) ... Secured a pair of huge wins in the come-from-behind win over Oklahoma State in the opening round of the Big 12 Championship ... Topped the Cowgirl's Jessica Collins (6-3, 3-6, 6-1) in singles play and then teamed with Olshanskaya to earned an 8-2 win in doubles to seal the opening-round victory ... Also grabbed a win at No. 4 singles against No. 75 Louisville, defeating Suzanna Gracanin 2-6, 6-1, 6-2.
Sophomore (Fall 2004): Started the 2004 fall campaign winning a singles title at the Mizzou-4-Way ... participated in the Indiana Invitational winning two singles matches ... participated in the ITA Central Region Championships ... paired with teammate Charlotte Bellis to advance to the doubles finals of the Lloyd Stokstad Invitational ... concluded fall play with a 6-3 singles record and a 5-4 doubles record
Freshman (Spring 2004): Teamed with Yelena Olshanskaya to earn a doubles victory that helped the Tigers pick up their first conference win over #70 Oklahoma State...won both her singles and doubles matches over Texas Tech giving the Tigers their second conference win...playing at No. 6 singles Josbena picked up a win over Kansas State's Aveen Alkhatib...teamed with Yelena Olshanskaya for big doubles win over Kansas's team of Filberth and Haylock...ended the season with a singles record of 11-15 and a doubles record of 14-16
Freshman (Fall 2003): Josbena lept onto the collegiate scene winning a doubles match at the Mizzou 4-way ... won two singles and one doubles matches at the Indiana Invitational ... participant at the Central Region Championship ... compiled a 4-4 mark in singles play and a 4-4 record in doubles during the fall season.
Prep: Ranked #1 in singles all four years during high school ... placed in central, and district tournaments throughout high school ... participated in state competitions placing 3rd her Senior year ... was ranked #3 middle states section, #105 nationally in singles, and #12 in doubles.
