Michaela Transue starts her coaching career at Mizzou following a very solid career playing for Coach Anderson at Hofstra. The Chengao Forks, NY, native is Anderson's graduate assistant coach for the 2019 season, bringing her recent experience with her to help Mizzou's squad better understand Anderson's system.

Transue played well in 2018 after losing all of 2017 to an injury, becoming the team’s starting second baseman. Transue posted a .256 batting average while hitting five doubles, one home run and 15 RBI. She also put together an 11-game hit streak from April 10-26. Transue also showed she has the clutch gene, as she registered hits in two of the Pride’s three games in the CAA Championship.

Transue graduated from Hofstra in May of 2018 with a master's in sports science.
