Biography
2021-22 (SOPHOMORE):
- Played in 13 games with six starts, averaging 2.0 points and 1.7 rebounds per game.
- Started his first collegiate game against Central Michigan (11/9) with 13 minutes played.
- Had a career performance against Northern Illinois (11/18) where he scored 11 points with six rebounds and three blocks.
- Also contributed six rebounds and two blocks against SMU (11/21).
- Had three rebounds and two points against Wichita State (11/26).
- Missed final 13 games of season with injury.
2020-21 (FRESHMAN):
- Appeared in five games as a freshman playing behind All-SEC center Jeremiah Tilmon, Jr.Â
- Totaled four points, six boards and one assist in those five appearances.Â
- Threw down a ferocious dunk in seven minutes at Auburn (Jan. 26).
- Corralled three rebounds and dished his first career assist in a career-high nine minutes vs. No. 7 Tennessee (Jan. 23).
- Played three minutes vs No. 6 Illinois, playing stout defense against the Illini's standout center, Kofi Cockburn (Dec. 12).
- In his Mizzou debut, grabbed three rebounds and scored his first career bucket with a putback vs. ORU (Nov. 25).
PREP CAREER
- Helped steer Whitehaven High School in Memphis, Tenn., to a 25-8 record and a 2019 District championship under coach Faragi Phillips, who is now an assistant at Vanderbilt
- His senior campaign was highlighted by a 28-point outburst on 12-of-14 shooting vs. Oakhaven.
- Averaged more than eight points and three blocks and grabbed nearly 10 rebounds per game at Whitehaven.
- En route to the District 16 AAA championship, his squad defeated Memphis East and the nation's top 2019 prospect, James Wiseman, in the title game.
- After graduating with Shelby County Schools Honors and an Above Exemplary Diploma, Wilmore opted to spend a year developing his game at Atlanta's Skills Factory Prep School.
PERSONAL
- Son of Brenda Wilmore, and has two brothers, Troy Wilmore and Kendale Thomas.
- Loves volunteering and enjoys being with his family in his spare time.
- Most notably been involved with the Feed the Homeless initiative, and the Foster Care Program, along with his mother.
- After his playing career, hopes to run a business feeding and helping the homeless, and one that helps the foster care system establish improved screening programs to aid children find good, forever homes
