Pat Beckmann enters his 28th season working with the University of Missouri and has been a vital part of the Mizzou Men's Basketball program for nearly three decades. He was recently honored for 25 years of exemplary service by Mizzou Athletics.
The 60-year-old Beckmann brings tremendous experience in the areas of injury prevention and treatment and has helped the Tigers remain on the floor for decades of success.
Prior to his time in Columbia, Mo., Beckmann spent seven years at Northwestern University, the final three of which he worked with the Wildcat basketball program.
Before to his stint on Chicago's Northshore, Beckmann spent two seasons as a Graduate Assistant at Michigan State University, earning a Master's Degree in Education.
A native of Bridgeton, Mo., Beckmann and his wife Carla reside in Columbia and are the parents of a 27-year-old son, Bradley. A second-generation Tiger, Pat's father, Bert, was a member of the 1954 Tiger baseball team that won the College World Series and was inducted into the University of Missouri Intercollegiate Athletics Hall of Fame.
Beckmann graduated from Missouri in 1984.
