2017 OUTLOOK
Young secondary talent who hopes to increase his role with the defense this season, after doing a nice job in his first action a year ago ... Closed spring camp in strong fashion, as he made five tackles in the annual Black & Gold Spring Game, including a tackle for loss of nine yards.
2016 SEASON
Posted 24 tackles (19 solo) while playing in all 12 games, adding a pass breakup … Has appeared in every game for Mizzou, playing the majority of his time on special teams early in the year before earning a starting role on defense ... Posted four tackles against Middle Tennessee (10/22) ... Tabbed a season-high 10 tackles against Kentucky (10/29), seven of which were solo … tied Cam Hilton for most tackles against Kentucky … Recorded four solo tackles against South Carolina (11/5) … Tallied three total tackles against Vanderbilt (11/12), two against Tennessee (11/19) and one solo tackle against Arkansas (11/25).

Is a big-time playmaker who has a great feel for the game and is great with the ball, traits that stood out to the Mizzou coaches … A four-star recruit by ESPN who rates as a top-50 athlete nationally by ESPN … A three-star recruit by Rivals and 247Sports, he ranked among the top 75 corners in the nation according to 247Sports … All-Region and All-County honoree during his senior season, earning Player of the Week honors once … Tallied 54 tackles his senior season, including 30 solo stops while hauling in three interceptions … Also amassed 1,001 all-purpose yards in his senior season (369 yards rushing, 452 passing, 180 return) … Accounted for 12 total touchdowns for Rockdale County (six rushing, five receiving, 1 interception return) … Tabbed as one of five ‘sleeper’ prospects in the state of Georgia by Rivals …  Was also a track standout who lettered four years for his school … High School Coach – Vernon Elder.
