2016 SEASON
Played in 12 games, starting seven, while tallying 58 tackles (40 solo), the third-most on the team … Also added two pass break-ups and a forced fumble … Had a pass break-up in limited time as the reserves saw the bulk of the snaps in Mizzou’s 79-0 win over Delaware State (9/23) … Had his best game of the season at LSU, posting a season-high 14 tackles with a half tackle for loss at LSU (10/1) … Posted nine stops (six solo) with a forced fumble at Florida (10/15) ... Recorded one tackle against Middle Tennessee (10/22) ... Posted one tackle against Kentucky (10/29) … Recorded two solo tackles against Vanderbilt (11/12) to go along with a six-tackle performance against Arkansas (11/25).
2015 SEASON
Played on special teams and was a key reserve at the free safety position during his sophomore season, tallying 14 tackles (eight solo) with a half tackle for loss and a fumble recovery … Had one tackle in each of the first four games of the season adding a half tackle for loss at Arkansas State (Sept. 12) … Matched a career-high with three tackles in back-to-back weeks at Georgia (Oct. 17) and at Vanderbilt (Oct. 24) … Had a pair of tackles and recovered a fumble vs. Mississippi State (Nov. 5) … Added a pair of tackles vs. Tennessee (Nov. 21).
2014 SEASON
Impressive-looking athlete who earned significant playing time as a true freshman and made bigger contributions throughout the year on Mizzou’s highly-rated defense ... Played in 13 games for the Tigers, tallying 17 tackles (eight solo, nine assists) and tallied a tackle for loss in Mizzou’s 29-21 win at Tennessee (Nov. 22) ... Hit a season-high three tackles on two separate occasions - vs. UCF (Sept. 13) and at Florida (Oct. 18).
HIGH SCHOOL
Fearless attitude impressed Mizzou’s coaching staff, as well as his explosive ability on the field … helped Buford High School and head coach Jess Simpson to three Georgia Class AAA state championships during his four years with the Wolves, playing running back and cornerback … picked up Georgia Sportswriters Association First Team All-State honors as a returner as a senior in 2013 … aided his squad’s 35-19 title-claiming performance over Washington County as a senior with 118 rushing yards and two scores on the ground … earned all-area recognition from The Times of Gainesville following his senior season … rated as the No. 27 athlete in the nation by Rivals.com.
