Hard-working, savvy wide receiver prospect that impressed Mizzou’s coaching staff with his great hands … a major offensive difference-maker for Christ Presbyterian Academy and head coach Ingle Martin over his final two high school seasons, totaling 122 receptions for 2,175 yards and 27 touchdowns … went out with a bang as he recorded 67 catches for 1,103 yards and 14 scores as a senior in 2013 … earned first team all-state recognition for his final high school season … offensive showcase for the Lions came after opting for only basketball in his first two years of high school at CPA … also played cornerback in his first season as a junior in 2012, helping the squad to a 13-1 record and Tennessee Class 3A State Championship semifinals … senior campaign included powering the Lions to a state runners-up finish … earned his district’s football athlete of the year award following his senior season … rated as the 18th-best recruit in the state of Tennessee by Rivals.com … high school teammate of fellow 2014 Mizzou signee Paul Adams … also played basketball for CPA.

Mother, Tanya, attended Missouri’s School of Journalism … chose Mizzou over interest from Clemson, Kentucky, South Carolina, Tennessee, Vanderbilt and UCLA, among others … plans to major in journalism at the University of Missouri … enjoys hunting in his spare time … noted Missouri’s top journalism school and his positive time with Mizzou’s coaching staff as the determining factors in his recruitment.
