2011 SEASON
Is coming off a solid year where he established himself as a high-level contributor on the defensive line ... Looks to build on that for his senior year, and he enters fall camp with designs on locking down the starting spot at the tackle position for the second straight year ... Has 40 games of experience under his belt, along with 14 career starts ... Is scheduled to receive his hotel and restaurant management degree from Mizzou this December.
2010 SEASON
Had a breakout year as he took over the starting position at defensive tackle, making all 13 starts on the year and notching career highs in most categories, including tackles (35), tackles for loss (4.0) and QB sacks (2.0) ... Made three tackles, including one TFL in the season opener against Illinois ... Added a tackle in the win over McNeese State ... Made three tackles against Miami (Ohio) ... Had a season-best six tackles against Colorado ... Blocked a CU field goal in the second quarter ... Made four tackles against Texas A&M ... Had 1.5 TFLs, including one sack in the win over the Aggies ... Made a pair of tackles in the win over Oklahoma ... Added a pass break-up vs. OU ... Had one tackle against Nebraska and made five stops against Texas Tech ... Made one tackle against Kansas State ... Tied a season-high with a six-tackle performance against Iowa State ... 2009 SEASON
Split time throughout the year at the tackle spot, providing valuable contributions in all 13 games ... Finished with 13 tackles, which included 1.5 tackles for loss as well ... Got his first collegiate start in the season opener against Illinois ... Later in the year tied his career-best by recording three tackles against third-ranked Texas, and later tied that personal mark with a three-tackle outing against Baylor ... Had a third multi-tackle game as he made two stops in a road win at Kansas State ... Had a tackle for loss against Bowling Green and was credited with a half-tackle for loss in MU's home finale against Iowa State.
2008 SEASON
Became a solid contributor to the defensive line depth as a redshirt freshman, as he saw action in all 14 games, playing primarily at the tackle position, where he backed up NFL hopeful Ziggy Hood ... Ended his first year of on-field action with 13 tackles, including one total tackle for loss ... Registered at least one tackle in 10-of-14 games overall, including a career-best three-tackle game in his very first collegiate action, in the season-opener against Illinois ... Made two stops against Colorado and added tackles against Kansas State and Kansas ... Had an impressive spring practice period where he earned a promotion up the depth chart, and he began fall camp listed second on the depth at the tackle spot.

Ranked by Rivals as the No. 7 overall prospect (any position) in the state of Missouri for the 2007 class, and was also regarded by the same outlet as the nation's No. 40 prospect at the position of strongside defensive end ... Rated by Super Prep as the state of Missouri's overall No. 17 prospect (any position) ... Was a standout for nearby Jefferson City at defensive tackle, and he recorded 58 tackles in 2006 and added seven QB sacks on the year ... Won First-Team All-State honors as a defensive end in 2006, while also pulling in All-District honors playing on the offensive line ...
