2018 OUTLOOK
Veteran defender who can line up all over the field among the back seven and should be a major contributor in a variety of defensive packages for Mizzou … Can line up at linebacker, safety or nickelback and made a name for himself in goal line packages and special teams a year ago. 

2017 SEASON
Versatile athlete who made contributions beyond what the stat sheet might indicate ... Saw action in 12 games and registered a career-best 14 tackles, and made at least one tackle in each of his last 11 appearances ... Included in that was a trio of two-tackle outings, coming at Georgia (10/14), and in consecutive home wins against Florida (11/4) and Tennessee (11/11) ... One of his stops against the Gators was a huge momentum play on the Tiger goal line that blew up a drive ... On a second-and-goal snap from the MU 1-yard line, Ross got into the backfield and popped the Gator ball carrier for a huge five-yard loss ... After a Gator false start penalty, they would eventually have to settle for a deflating field goal that made the score 28-9 at the time in favor of the Tigers ... Was praised throughout the season for his selfless leadership by Coach Odom, as he willingly took extra snaps in practice on the scout team to give his teammates good looks at upcoming foes ... Was rewarded for that selfless nature at the end of the year when he was named the recipient of the team’s Don Faurot Most Inspirational Award.

2016 SEASON
Played in seven games during the 2016 season, seeing most of his action on special teams … Totaled one tackle on the year ... Played in Mizzou’s 79-0 win over Delaware State (9/23) and tallied one tackle (solo) ... Received a prestigious honor in April of 2017 when he was named the 2016-17 winner of Mizzou Athletics’ Dr. Judy Wells Academic Achievement Award at the annual ROARS event.

2015 SEASON
Valuable member of the special teams unit after working his way onto the field despite tearing his ACL in the spring … Tallied a pair of tackles, both coming in the season-opener against SEMO (Sept. 5) before missing the final three games of the season after suffering a torn ACL against Mississippi State (Nov. 5). 

2014 SEASON
Redshirt season. 

HIGH SCHOOL
Possesses elite athleticism that Mizzou’s coaching staff believes will allow him to be a hammer in the defensive secondary … excelled going both ways on the field for Bleckley County High School and head coach Tracy White, playing both quarterback and safety … did his part to shut down opposing offenses with 87 tackles and six interceptions as a senior in 2013, returning four for touchdowns … racked up 734 passing yards and eight touchdown passes with 652 rushing yards and 10 scores on the ground on the offensive side of the ball … powered the Royals to a school-record nine wins in 2013 … totaled 20 touchdowns through the air and on the ground as a junior in 2012, helping Bleckley County to an 8-3 record.

Chose Mizzou over Alabama, Georgia and Miami (Fla.), among others ... Majoring in Agriculture.
