Biography

2018 SEASON
Opened the season with three catches for 19 yards against UT Martin (9/1) … Had one reception for 27 yards against Wyoming (9/8) and a season-high five receptions for 48 yards against Purdue (9/15) … Recorded three receptions for 35 yards against Georgia (9/22).

2017 SEASON
Came on late in the year after he suffered a shoulder injury in spring camp that required surgery and set him back some, but he managed to catch 11 passes for 89 yards in limited action in 11 games on the year ... Biggest game came at Arkansas in Mizzou’s win, as he caught five key passes for 49 yards coming off the bench ... Had two catches each in games against Idaho (15 yards total) and at UConn (17 yards).

2016 SEASON
Sat out the season after sustaining an ankle injury in pre-season practice that required corrective surgery.

2015 SEASON
Emerged as one of Mizzou’s top pass-catching threats in his first full year as a starter in 2015 … Hauled in a team-high four touchdowns and finished second on the team in total catches (27) and receiving yards (326), averaging 12.07 yards per catch … Pulled in three catches for 69 yards and his first career touchdown in Mizzou’s season-opening win over SEMO (Sept. 5) … Had a touchdown again the following week with four catches for 46 yards and a score at Arkansas State (Sept. 12) … Career-high six catches in Mizzou’s win over South Carolina (Oct. 3) while hauling in a pair of touchdown grabs, becoming the first Tiger catch two touchdowns in the same game since Bud Sasser in the 2015 Buffalo Wild Wings Citrus Bowl the previous season … Amassed 51 yards on just two grabs at Georgia (Oct. 17) … Caught five balls for 65 yards, both marks the second-best of the season, against BYU (Nov. 14) at Arrowhead Stadium. 

2014 SEASON 
True freshman who made a quick impression and earned playing time in his first year with the program (one of four true freshmen to see playing time in 2014 – Logan Cheadle, Thomas Wilson and Ish Witter were the others) ... Played in nine games for the Tigers and tallied five catches for 45 yards ... Three of his five catches on the year came against Kentucky, including a career-long grab of 11 yards (Nov. 1) ... He tallied a career-high 27 receiving yards in that game ... Also had one catch for four yards in Mizzou’s win over Vanderbilt (Oct. 25) ... Hauled in a 14-yard pass in the Citrus Bowl, a career-long grab.

HIGH SCHOOL
Ability to lead and his productivity at wide receiver caught the eye of Mizzou’s coaching staff … turned in a prolific senior season for North Gwinnett High School and head coach Bob Sphire, making 61 catches for 1,081 yards and 21 touchdowns … helped the Bulldogs to a 13-3 season capped with an appearance in the Georgia Class 6A State Football Championship game … earned first team all-state recognition as a senior from several outlets, including the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and Georgia Sportswriters Association … named Gwinnett County Wide Receiver of the Year by area coaches following his final high school season … rated as the No. 29 overall recruit in the state of Georgia by Rivals.com, as well as the No. 49 wide receiver in the nation … brought in 41 receptions for 491 yards as a junior in 2012, pushing North Gwinnett to a strong 11-2 season … earned first team all-county following his junior season … also participated in basketball and track and field for North Gwinnett.

Parents – Rob and Wanda Brown … Chose Mizzou over Georgia, Illinois, Louisville, South Carolina, Vanderbilt and Yale, among others … Majoring in Business Marketing at Mizzou.
