Redshirt season ... Entered the season with hopes of challenging for playing time primarily as a punter, but an early foot injury suffered in fall camp slowed his progress ... Worked as a punter mostly during his redshirt year, but began to work more as a placekicker as the season progressed.

One of the top combo kickers in the nation ... Ranked as the No. 12 kicker in the nation, according to Rivals.com ... Earned 1st-Team all-district recognition as a senior at both punter and place kicker, after connecting on 12-of-18 field goals and punting for a 42-yard average on the 2004 season ...
