Valuable newcomer to the Tiger defense a year ago who emerged as a starter at free safety ... Moves over to strong safety this year, where he looks to lock down the starting job after a strong spring camp that saw him win the team's most improved safety award ... 2011 SEASON
Made solid contributions to the Tiger defense, recording 44 tackles on the year in 13 games ... Emerged down the stretch as a starter, as he started each of the last 3 games ... Closed the year by making 4 tackles against North Carolina ... Made a career-best 10 tackles in the win over Texas Tech ... Recorded his first career start at Arizona State ... picked up three assisted tackles against Western Illinois while also recording his first career interception ... had six tackles, five solo, in Mizzou's contest at Oklahoma ... had two tackles, including a tackle for loss, in Mizzou's game at Kansas State, broke up a pass, assisted on a tackle for loss and totaled two tackles against Iowa State ... finished the OSU game with three tackles...
2010 SEASON
Redshirted in his first year in the program, after he enrolled in January to start the learning curve ... Was impressive during the season working with the defensive scout team, and he won the team's defensive back-up player of the week award for his practices leading up to the win over Colorado.
