2011 SEASON

One of the potential top playmakers in the Big 12 Conference who is looking to expand his leadership role in his final year as a Tiger ... Is the prime candidate to man the X-receiver position, where he started nine games a year ago and posted career numbers ... Is on pace to earn his health sciences degree from Mizzou in May of 2012, and has earned 2nd-Team Academic All-Big 12 honors each of the last two years for his hard work in the classroom.

2010 SEASON

Was a game-breaker in his most extensive action of his career, turning in career-high numbers of 50 receptions for 656 yards and 3 touchdowns, plus a rushing touchdown as well on a jet sweep against Kansas State ... Made 9 starts in all in 12 games, despite suffering a broken bone in his wrist early in preseason camp ... While it was thought he'd miss a few games, he came back very quickly and was in the starting lineup for the season opener against Illinois ... Caught four passes for 50 yards, including a 14-yard reception in the first quarter and a 16-yard grab in the fourth quarter ... Will always be remembered for his star performance in Mizzou's 36-27 win over #1-ranked Oklahoma, as he made a career-high 9 receptions for 139 yards, including a thrilling 38-yard reception in the fourth quarter that gave Mizzou the lead for good ... Also closed the year in strong fashion, as he caught 9 passes in the Insight Bowl against Iowa for 129 yards ... Had three grabs for 43 yards against McNeese State ... Scored his first TD of the year and the third of his career on a 24-yard reception against MSU ... Had four catches for 47 yards against San Diego State ... Had a 20-yard grab to start the Tigers' game-winning drive ... Also had a big block on T.J. Moe's catch and run for the game-winning touchdown ... Did not play against Miami (Ohio) due to an injury ... Caught three passes for 51 yards against Colorado, including a 30-yard touchdown reception in the second quarter, his second TD of the year ... Had four receptions for 55 yards against Texas A&M ... Made two receptions for 19 yards against Nebraska ... Had one catch, for 15 yards, against Texas Tech ... Caught four passes for 45 yards in the win over Kansas State ... Scored on a nine-yard run on an end-around in the second quarter against the Wildcats ... Made four catches for 34 yards against Iowa State ... Made three receptions for 33 yards in the win over Kansas ... Continued his strong work in the classroom, as he was named 2nd-Team Academic All-Big 12 for the second straight season.

2009 SEASON

Emerged late in the season as an explosive play maker who burned opposing defenses in the air and on the ground ... Was a starter five times on the season, and stepped up big-time when senior wideout Jared Perry missed the final two games of the regular season with a knee injury ... In Perry's absence, he caught a career-best 142 yards of passes (on eight receptions) in a key win against Iowa State, including a career-long 70-yard TD catch-and-run that got Mizzou going in the second half ... He followed by catching five passes for 54 yards in the epic win against rival Kansas, but made his biggest contribution when he took a third-quarter jet sweep around right end and turned on the burners to go untouched for a 37-yard TD run ... His receptions (37) and yardage (458) were both good for the third-highest totals on the team for the season ... Also did a great job in the classroom, and he was recognized as a Second-Team Academic All-Big 12 performer for his efforts there ... Opened the 2009 season by making two receptions against Illinois ... Caught his first career TD, a four-yard grab in the third quarter against the Illini ... Made one reception against Bowling Green for 12 yards ... Had four catches for 64 yards against Furman ... Made one catch for 15 yard against Nevada and caught two passes for 11 yards against Nebraska ... Had two grabs for 25 yards, including a 21-yard reception against Oklahoma State ... Caught two passes against Texas ... Made just one reception for five yards against Colorado on Oct. 31, but the grab was a one-handed, highlight-reel catch ... Tallied three catches for 36 yards against Baylor ... Had a season-high six catches and a then-career-best 78 yards against Kansas State ... Also carried the ball three times for 24 yards for 102 yards of total offense against KSU ... Spent the vast majority of spring camp running with the top-string offense, as Danario Alexander sat out from contact, which gave him valuable experience ... Was one of the offense's top performers in the spring game, as he caught two passes for 26 yards, and was the leading rusher on the day as well, going for 39 yards on two attempts.

2008 SEASON

Not necessarily expected to come in and contribute as a true freshman, he kept grading out highly every day in fall camp, and eventually played his way into field time in 2008 ... Saw action in all 14 games on the season, finishing with nine receptions for 98 yards, plus two rushes for a net of 10 yards out of the backfield ... Made his first collegiate reception against Southeast Missouri State ... Finished the SEMO game with six catches for 70 yards, which were team-leading totals on the night ... Also had one carry for 11 yards against SEMO ... Caught a seven-yard pass against Texas ... Made one grab (for six yards) against Kansas State ... Finished the year by making a 15-yard reception against Northwestern in the Tigers' overtime win against Northwestern in the Alamo Bowl.

HIGH SCHOOL

Skilled two-way player out of the Houston area who ESPN.com ranked as the No. 81 wide receiver prospect in the country, calling him a gifted, fluid athlete with long arms, a long stride, and very deceptive speed ... Caught 42 passes as a senior wideout in 2007, for 978 yards and 18 TDs, while adding five INTs as a defensive back ... Was a First-Team All-District honoree as a senior, as well as earning First-Team All-Greater Houston, and District 20-4A MVP honors ... Also was a First-Team All-District winner on both sides of the ball as a junior, when he caught 35 passes for 760 yards and 14 TDs, while contributing six INTs defensively ... Had 21 receptions for 402 yards and seven TDs as a sophomore, as he earned all-district acclaim on both sides of the ball ... Three-sport standout at Davis High school who was a three-time all-district performer in basketball, and a regional qualifier in track three years, in addition to his football achievements ...
