2019 SEASON
Veteran linebacker who enters his fourth year in program having played 37 career games, including the last 25 consecutive … Finished his junior season appearing in all 12 games while registering 21 total tackles (10 solo) … Also posted 1.0 tackle for loss and a QB hurry while seeing time on special teams and as a reserve linebacker … Was sensational in Mizzou’s season finale, 24-14 win at Arkansas (11/29), putting up a career-high seven tackles with a tackle for loss in the win … Posted a then career-high five tackles in Mizzou’s 50-0 win over Southeast Missouri (9/14).
2018 SEASON
Sophomore who continued his development in the program and also his recovery from a knee injury which sidelined him at the tail end of his freshman campaign ... Saw action in 12 games on the season, and made six tackles, including four solo stops ... Also added a quarterback pressure on the year ... Made two stops playing at No. 1 Alabama (10/13) and later equaled that with a two-tackle game in Mizzou's 50-17 road win at Tennessee (11/17).
2017 SEASON
Physical young linebacker who developed quickly into one of the most valuable special teams contributors on the season ... Played in all 12 regular season games, registering nine tackles, with most coming on special teams ... Unfortunately saw his season end with a knee injury sustained early in the regular-season finale at Arkansas ... Had surgery to repair the knee shortly after ... Had tackles in six different games, and had a half-tackle for loss in the opener against Missouri State ... Later in the season had a big performance in MU’s win at UConn, when he notched a career-best four tackles ... Also played on kick return units, and had a pair of kickoff returns for 30 yards in all as the upback.
BEFORE MIZZOU
Fast and physical linebacker with a nose for the football and an intensity that his teammates will feed off of … Shows a strong burst to the ball and is quick and aggressive with his reads … A three-star recruit by all of the major recruiting services … Listed as a top-50 national prospect at outside linebacker by ESPN.com … A leader by nature, he played a key role in actively touting Mizzou to other members of the recruiting class during the process … One of a handful of signees in the 2017 class who attended Mizzou’s first-ever “Night at the Zou” elite camp in July … Made a big impression on everyone at that appearance, and he committed to the Tigers shortly after the camp … Led all of Alabama with 168 tackles while adding two interceptions and eight forced fumbles during his junior season … Named to the Nike Opening 2016 LB Watch List prior to the 2016 season … Class 6A Second Team All-State honoree as a senior and a sophomore … High school coach: Martez Edwards … Cited the Mizzou coaching staff’s belief in him as a key contributor to his signing … Chose Mizzou over offers from Cincinnati, Kentucky, Louisville, Maryland, Pittsburgh, Vanderbilt and Wake Forest among others ...
