2017 SEASON
Made 16 tackles in all on the season in 12 games, and added a pair of pass break-ups ... His role evolved throughout the year, as he ended the year being a key contributor on various third down packages for the Tiger defense, in addition to valuable contributions on several special teams units ... Got loose for a sack against Idaho (10/21), good for a loss of four yards ... Tallied two solo tackles against Purdue (9/16)… Recorded four tackles (three solo) against Auburn (9/23).
2016 SEASON
Worked his way into a starting role late in the season and played in 11 games with six starts … Totaled a career-best 49 tackles (35 solo) with 2.5 tackles for loss and a sack while adding six pass break-ups and his first career interception … Played in five games, totaling 13 tackles (nine solo) and an interception … Had three tackles (all solo) against Eastern Michigan (9/10) … Hauled in his first interception of the year against Georgia (9/17), jumping a route from the safety spot and picking off a Jacob Eason pass and returning it 27 yards nearly for a score … The interception set up the go-ahead touchdown for the Tigers in that game … Totaled four tackles and a pass break-up vs. Delaware State (9/24) … Posted three tackles and a pass break-up that nearly was hauled in for an interception in the endzone at Florida (10/15) ... Recorded a career-high nine tackles against Middle Tennessee with one pass break-up (10/22) ... Led Mizzou on defense against Kentucky (10/29) with 10 tackles (nine solo), setting a new career-high … Tallied his first tackle for a loss of the season with a three-yard takedown to start the game … Following his career-best game, earned his third start of the season at South Carolina (11/5) … Tabbed six tackles including a five-yard sack, his first of the season … Posted four tackles (three solo) including a half tackle-for-loss … tabbed three tackles (one solo) against Tennessee (11/19) … Notched four tackles in the Battle Line Rivalry against Arkansas, bringing his season-total to 49 tackles (35 solo). 2015 SEASON
Made an immediate impact as a freshman on both offense and special teams, catching nine passes for 129 yards, returning six punts for 21 yards and one kick for 13 yards … Notched a career-long 29-yard reception against Georgia (Oct. 17) … Had a career-high 41 yards receiving against Tennessee (Nov. 21) … Ranked second on the team in both punt returns (six) and punt-return yards (21) … Returned a punt a career-high 10 yards against South Carolina (Oct. 3) … Returned his lone kickoff for 13 yards against Connecticut … Tallied three tackles on defense, including one unassisted against BYU (Nov. 14) … Moved from defensive back to wide receiver at the beginning of the season.Â
HIGH SCHOOL
A pure playmaker in the secondary, the Mizzou coaching staff recognized his nose for the football and superb athleticism … Tabbed as a four-star recruit by Scout.com, with the national recruiting site ranking him as the fifth-best prospect in the state of Missouri and the top-rated defensive back … Scout.com also rated him as the No. 30 defensive back in the entire 2015 signing class … A three-star recruit by Rivals, ESPN and 247Sports … Rivals ranks Hilton as the No. 8 player in the state and the No. 40 defensive back nationally … ESPN and 247Sports both tabbed him as the No. 11 recruit in the state of Missouri … Scored 14 touchdowns as a senior, as he made 40 tackles and grabbed seven interceptions on defense, while amassing over 900 receiving yards on the other side of the ball … Finished his junior season with 63 tackles, three sacks and seven interceptions – three of which were returned for TDs … Played both ways as he also caught 54 passes for 922 yards and 14 touchdowns … Was a Class 5 All-State selection by the Missouri Football Coaches Association and by Associated Press … Holds Webster Groves’ all-time records for most touchdowns and interceptions … High School Coach – Cliff Ice … Outstanding all-around athlete who has lettered three years on Webster Groves basketball team, and who won 2nd-team all-conference honors as a junior on the hardwood.
