Averaged 8.4 ppg, fourth-best on the team, to go along with 6.0 rpg, second-best on the Tiger's squad as she started 19 of the 29 games played ... pulled down a then-career-high 13 rebounds against New Mexico (11/26)... scored 12 points and handed out a personal best five assists against Providence (11/27)... nailed four of her five treys against Evansville (11/30) on her way to 16 points... grabbed 11 rebounds vs. Mississippi Valley State (12/3) ... dropped 16 points on Saint Louis (1/2) to open the 2005 calendar year ... in a three game span from Jan. 15 to Jan. 22 averaged 11 ppg ... pulled down nine rebounds in the first half at home against Texas A&M (2/12) ... put on a 14 point, seven rebound performance vs. Iowa State (2/23) ... established personal bests with 14 rebounds and three blocks in 39 minutes in Lincoln, Neb.
Freshman Season (2003-04): Provided valuable minutes off the bench ... played in 22 games this season, starting two ... scored a career-high 11 points, including 2-of-5 from long distance, in the opening game of the Unilever Classic against Alcorn State ... notched seven points in 11 minutes in the Tigers' win against Miami (Ohio) on Jan. 2 ... scored nine points, collected five boards and established a career-high with four assists in her first career start, vs. Nebraska on Jan. 14 ... followed that performance with seven points and a career-high six rebounds in a starting role at Colorado four days later ... blocked a shot, recorded an assist and grabbed two rebounds against Baylor on Feb. 11.
High School: Was named the Fort Worth Star Telegram's Player of the Year in each of her last three seasons at Trinity High School under head coach Sue Cannon ... recipient of first-team all-state honors from TABC her junior and senior years, and was tabbed an honorable mention All-American and first-team all-state by TGCA her senior season ... averaged 22.2 points and 9.1 rebounds per game en route to leading the Trojans to a 38-2 record and the regional championship game ... was named the 5A District Most Valuable Player each of her last three years - District 7 in 2001 and 2002, and District 5 in 2003 ... also named to the all-region team each of her last three years ... as a freshman in 2000, garnered second-team all-region honors, in addition to being named the Fort Worth Star Telegram Newcomer of the Year ... an accomplished student, graduated in the top seven percent of her class ... Personal: Born June 5, 1985, in Texas City, Texas ... daughter of Carl and Ouida Savant ... has a twin brother, Zack ... majoring in psychology, and plans a career as a forensic psychologist ... got engaged to Bobby Musil, a thrower on the MU track and field team, on Aug. 28, 2005 ... the couple has planned a July, 2007 wedding.
