- Made four appearances out of the bullpen as a freshman, posting a 4.91 ERA over 3.2 innings.
- Allowed two earned runs on five hits and struck out five of 16 batters faced.
- Made his collegiate debut against La Salle (3/10) and tossed a shutout inning, surrendering a hit while striking out a batter.
- Pitched a shutout inning vs. Arkansas State (3/20) while striking out two without a hit.
- Had a shutout inning vs. SIU-Edwardsville (4/4) and did not allow a hit.
- The only outing during which he allowed runs was against Missouri State (4/10) when he was tagged with two earned runs on four hits over 0.2 innings.
