2018

  • Named to the SEC Community Service Team for the third consecutive season for his incredible work in the Mid-Missouri and Mizzou communities.
  •  Made six appearances out of the bullpen and threw 4.2 innings with seven strikeouts.

2017

  • Made a team-high 22 appearances as a junior and posted a 4.34 ERA in 18.2 innings, striking out 23 batters and holding the opposition to .197 hitting
  • Did not allow a run in 16 of his 22 appearances
  • Named to the SEC Community Service Team for the second consecutive season for his outstanding work in the Mid-Missouri and University communities …  most notable community service endeavor this year was when he teamed with campus and athletic leaders to host “It’s On Us” Night at Taylor Stadium in the hopes of raising awareness for the initiative that is trying to prevent sexual violence on college campuses across the nation. The team wore teal accessories to raise awareness for sexual assaults on campuses and 1,000 “It’s On Us” shirts were distributed. Dozens of campus student organizations attended the game, drawing Mizzou’s largest Friday night crowd of the year
  • Also tapped into Mizzou’s prestigious QEBH secret society this year. QEBH is the oldest of the six secret honor societies at the University of Missouri and members are selected based on selfless dedication to the University, excellence in personal character and leadership achievements in the community
  • Earned his first career save against Appalachian State (3/10), getting the final out of the game with a strikeout on four pitches
  • Tossed 2.0 shutout innings in the SEC-opening series at Alabama and struck out two in a pair of perfect frames
  • Had multiple strikeouts in seven of his 22 appearances

2016

  • Selected to the SEC Community Service Team for his work away from the baseball diamond
  • Made 15 appearances out of the bullpen and compiled a 6.75 ERA in 12.0 innings, striking out 13 against only three walks
  • Did not allow a run in 10 of 15 appearances and was tagged for more than one run just twice in 2016
  • Struck out a career-high four batters over a career-long 2.1 innings, scattering just two hits with a run against Illinois (5/3)
  • Did not walk a batter in eight straight appearances from April 17-May 15
  • Did not allow a hit in four straight appearances from April 12-April 24

2015

  • Appeared in one game as a freshman, doing so against Truman State (3/10)
  • Worked an inning against TSU, allowing two hits and a run with a double and a hit batter

BEFORE MIZZOU

  • Earned All-Conference Honors from 2012-14 as both a pitcher and an infielder
  • Helped Smithville High School win the District and Sectional Championships in 2014 after not allowing a single run in two playoff games whiles striking out 17 batters
  • Hit .379 with 19 RBIs, while posting a 5-5 record as a pitcher with a 1.71 ERA and 71 strikeouts
  • Went 10-6 in his varsity career for coach Jeff Cain, with a 1.36 ERA and 117 strikeouts
  • Kansas City Star Scholar Athlete Award for Baseball in 2014
  • Successful football career included All-District and All-Conference Defensive End and Running Back in 2012 and 2013
  • Holds the career sack record (27) and fumbles recovered record (10) at Smithville High School

  • Born July 23, 1995, in Madison, Wis., to Michael and Kristen Gromacki.
  • Father played football and mother played soccer at the University of Wisconsin.
  • Uncle played hockey at the University of Minnesota
  • Great uncle played baseball at University of Minnesota and won the 1964 College World Series after defeating Missouri in the Championship series.
  • Younger sister, Karina, is a soccer player and is the “best athlete in the family.”
  • Member of the National Honor Society from 2011-14, including President in 2013-14
  • Honor Roll from 2010-14
  • Smithville High School Male Athlete of the Year- 2014
  • Mechanical Engineering major while at Mizzou
