2016

  • Mizzou’s everyday centerfielder after starting all 56 games while hitting in the second or third spot in order in all 56 games as well.
  • Finished second on the team in batting at .317 and stole a team-high 25 bases, which was second-best in the SEC following the regular season.
  • His 25 steals are the third-most in a single season at Mizzou and the most since Torre Tyson swiped a school record 37 in 1998 … He is just the sixth Tiger to ever steal 20 bases in a single season … He stole the 25 bases on just 30 attempts.
  • Stole three bases against Seton Hall (Feb. 20) and had five games with multiple steals, including a pair of three-steal performances.
  • His 36 career steals rank as the seventh-best mark in program history.
  • Led Mizzou with 36 walks, was third on the team with 17 extra-base hits and second in slugging (.434) … His 37 runs were third on the team.
  • Second on the team with 65 total hits and tied for the team-lead with 19 multi-hit games.
  • Owned a 10-game hitting streak and reached base safely in 12 consecutive games at one point.
  • Was perfect in the field without committing an error in center field all season.
  • Had a career-high four hits with a double and a triple against Hofstra (2/27).
  • Scored multiple runs in eight games
  • Hit homers against UIC (3/6) and vs. Georgia (5/14), the latter of which was a go-ahead solo shot in the bottom of the sixth inning to break a 0-0 tie.

2015

  • Recorded team-best 22 extra base hits after posting just three (three doubles) as a freshman
  • One of the biggest breakout players in the SEC, he reset career-highs in batting (.282), runs (39), doubles (15), triples (three), homers (four) and stolen bases (eight). 
  • His .282 average was up from .203 as the Tigers’ everyday starting centerfielder in 2014.
  • Finished the year with the highest on-base percentage on the team after drawing 30 walks in 220 at bats 
  • Reached base safely in 20-consecutive games 
  • Had 17 multi-hit games, good for second on the team 
  • Tied for team-lead in triples with three
  • His 15 doubles were the most by a Tiger in a single season since 2012
  • Batted leadoff or second in 57 of 58 games this year – hit one game in the cleanup spot as well. 
  • Hit .371 with runners on and .389 with runners in scoring position 
  • Was second on the team with 12 two-out RBI on the season. 

2014

  • Played in 51 games for the Tigers this year, starting in 46. 
  • With 14 walks and 31 hits, ended the season with a .272 on-base percentage. 
  • Ring recorded seven multi-hit games on the year, including a 3-for-5 effort against Kentucky with two RBI's and a run scored (4/13). 
  • Early in the season, Ring came in the clutch with a game-tying hit, then scoring the go-ahead run against No. 17 Tennessee in a 5-2 victory. 
  • Ring also recorded a .257 on-base percentage in SEC play.

BEFORE MIZZOU

  • 2013 Rawlings Central Region First Team honoree that possesses great speed after resetting the Grant High School record with 40 stolen bases in the 2011 season. What is eye-popping is that he stole those 40 bases in 16 games. 
  • In 2012, Ring hit .455 with 50 runs, 28 stolen bases, 29 RBI, 39 walks and 14 extra-base hits.
  • Those numbers earned him third team All-State honors along with All-Area, All-County and All-Conference honors.
  • Was team MVP in 2012 as well.
  • Was ranked in the top-20 in the state of Illinois by Prep Baseball Report.
