2016

Preseason First Team All-SEC at shortstop and tabbed as Baseball America’s top INF arm in the SEC.
Finished third on the team with his .295 batting average and was second on the team with his 19 extra-base hits, including 13 doubles, five homers and one triple.
Drove in 27 runs and scored 40 more, the latter of which was second on the team as were his 13 doubles and 94 total bases … Also stole 10 bases, second-best on the team.
Hit a walk-off, three-run homer in the bottom of the ninth inning in the Friday night contest against UIC (3/4)
Tied for the team-lead with 19 multi-hit games
Started every game for Mizzou at short and led Mizzou in assists (163).
Reached base at a team-best .489 clip when leading off an inning and was also a team-best .333 (22-for-66) when batting with two outs, including nine of his 27 RBI coming with two outs.
Was outstanding over his final 16 games of the season, hitting a team-best .381 with 13 runs and nine RBIs while hitting five of his 13 doubles and two of his five homers in that span, raising his average from .259 to .295 … He also had eight of his 19 multi-hit games in that 16-game span
Had seven multi-hit games in his first 13 contests of the season.
Homered in game two of a doubleheader against Seton Hall (2/20).
Homered twice in the UIC series, the aforementioned walk-off in the opener (3/4) and in the finale (3/6).
Also hit homers vs. Tennessee (4/30) and against Illinois (5/3).

Had a season-high four hits against Tennessee (4/29), driving in a season-high three runs with another run scored.

2015 Summer - USA Baseball

Played with USA Baseball’s Collegiate National Team as the team’s starting shortstop.
Hit .310 with four doubles, a homer and three walks with six runs scored and three RBI in 17 games.
His four doubles were second-most on the team as were his five extra-base hits.
Slugged .431 with an OBP of .344

2015

Drafted in the 31st round of the 2015 MLB Draft by the San Francisco Giants.
Tied for team-lead with 58 starts on the year, starting nearly every game at shortstop
Led team with a .308 average while recording team-high 69 hits on the season.
Also led the team in at-bats (224) and total-bases (97)
Boasted a 10-game hitting streak at one point and reached base safely in 15 games at one point in 2015.
Led the Tigers with 21 multi-hit games, including four three-hit contests.
Was second on the team with nine multi-RBI games
Led Mizzou with 16 two-out RBI on the season and hit a team-best .303 with two outs.
His five homers, 29 runs, 39 RBI and 69 hits were all new career-highs
Led the team in assists in the field (170)
Finished the year with an impressive .308/.369/.433 slash line
Batted .337 with runners on base an even more impressive .348 with runners in scoring position
His 18 extra base hits were good enough for second most on the team
Finished the year with lowest strikeout-rate on the team (10.7%)
Committed just seven errors on 243 chances in the field as the team’s starting shortstop.

2014

Started 46 games for the Tigers, splitting time at shortstop and third base.
Accumulated a .340 on-base percentage with 21 walks and 40 hits in 169 at bats.
Slugged .302 at the dish with 20 RBI's.
Ended the season with 11 multi-hit games and five multi-RBI games, including a 3-for-5 effort against IPFW with two runs and 4 RBI's (3/1).
Howard also went 4-for-8 in a doubleheader against Alcorn State with five RBI's (3/11).
In 29 SEC games, Howard developed a .319 on-base percentage.
2013-14 SEC First-Year Academic Honor Roll

BEFORE MIZZOU

A star on the mound and on the infield for Francis Howell Central.
Hit .352 with a .427 OBP and a .582 slugging percentage while driving in 31 runs with nine doubles and four homers in 2012.
Also threw 2.0 innings on the mound in 2012, seeing action in three games during the 2012 season.
2012 First Team All-Gateway Athletic Conference selection.
2013 Rawlings Central Region Second Team selection and was a Perfect Game 2012 Underclass honorable mention pick.
