2007: Collecting 114 putouts and a team-high 112 assists from her work at shortstop and second base, Allen helped turn 15 double plays on the season. Leading the Tigers with seven runs scored against Big 12 opponents, including two against Nebraska, May 5, at home, Allen scored 39 runs on the season. Allen earned a 1.000 fielding percentage in Big 12 play and went 18 straight games (March 28-May 11) without an error. Credited with 13 stolen bases on the year, it marked the second highest total of her Tiger teammates. Allen hit her only home run of the season, the third of her career, against 10th-ranked Washington, March 11, at the Big 12/Pac 10 Showdown. With two outs on the board, Allen hit the home run deep over the left field wall. Honors: Academic All-Big 12 First Team.
2006: Playing at both shortstop and second base in her first year with the Tiger team, Allen made 49 starts in the field collecting 80 putouts and a team high 147 assists. Credited with seven of Missouri's 16 double plays, Allen recorded a season high six putouts in Missouri's March 7 home opener against Truman State, helping the Tigers to a 3-1 win and two-game sweep of the Bulldogs. At the plate, Allen crushed two triples and stood tied with teammates Leanne Bowers and Janessa Roening for most on the season. Allen crushed two home runs in 2006, the second coming March 25 against Big 12 opponent Oklahoma. Driving in two runs with her hit over the wall in left center, Allen gave Missouri a 6-2 lead entering the bottom of the sixth inning. Allen was second on the team with nine stolen bases and fifth in hits (33), RBI (17) and doubles (six).
Windsor: Allen was a two-time all-metro first team member at Windsor High School and was named all-state first team her senior year (2005) under Head Coach Heath Allison. A four-time all-conference and all-district member in softball, Allen served as team captain her junior (2004) and senior (2005) seasons with the Owls. Allen was named conference MVP in both softball and basketball and earned nine letters during her four years at Windsor High School. Allen was an Honor Roll student all four years in high school and graduated in the top 10 of her class.
Personal: The daughter of the late Steve and Debbie Allen, Andee was born May 6, 1987, in St. Louis, Mo. Allen has one sibling and is majoring in parks, recreation and tourism.
