- Recorded one hit in seven at bats, also recording an RBI along with it as he drove in the go-ahead run in a Sunday win over Florida.
High School
- First Team All-Conference and First Team All-Area while earning honorable mention All-State honors
- Selected to participate in the State All-Star Game, representing the North Team.
- Broke the School Record for consecutive games with a hit.
- Helped Munster High School to a 27-3 record, the best in program history and also helped the team score the most 10-run games in school history
- Hit .460 with nine homers his senior year and was a career .380 hitter with 15 homers for Munster High School.
- Was a member of Munster High School's student government.

- Father, Martin, was drafted out of high school and played baseball at Arizona State University.
