Drew Heitland is entering his first year as an assistant for the University of Missouri Athletic Performance department. Before joining the Mizzou staff, Heitland served as an intern for the University of Missouri. While interning he worked with football, softball, gymnastics, women’s soccer, men’s and women’s swimming and diving, and track and field. Prior to Mizzou, Heitland served as an intern for the University of Iowa Football Strength and Conditioning program during the summer of 2018.
Heitland played football at Coe College, where he was a four-year letterman. He earned a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Physical Education in the spring of 2018. During that time, Heitland served as an intern for the Coe College Strength and Conditioning program. Heitland is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).
Heitland is from Cedar Rapids, Iowa and currently resides in Columbia.
