Corrective Biomechanics
Corrective Biomechanics is a team of performance-based physical therapists who provide a unique service by bridging the gap from rehab to athletic performance. The team of clinicians work closely with the Sports Medicine and Athletic Performance staff by conducting detailed movement analysis, manual interventions, and functional movement exercise to enhance athletic performance. Corrective Biomechanics uses the manual or "hands on" therapies and functional exercise techniques to speed up recovery, restore muscular imbalances, and improve joint mobility specifically tailored to each athlete's needs. They collaborate with the Sports Medicine and Athletic Performance staff in assisting with post-rehabilitation needs as well as participate in assisting our coaching staff to recognize and intervene when barriers to athletic development arise.
