2019 (Sophomore): SEC Academic Honor Roll … led Mizzou with 928 all-purpose yards as a sophomore, averaging a team-best 77.3 per game … of his 928 all-purpose yards, 457 came on the ground as he averaged 4.2 yards per carry with three touchdowns … led Mizzou with 32 catches and posted 356 receiving yards (11.1 average) with five touchdowns … his 32 catches were the most by a Mizzou running back in the last decade and he was the first Mizzou running back to lead the team in receptions during a season since Brock Olivo in 1995 (17) … reset his career-high in rushing yards over back-to-back weeks against West Virginia (9/7) and Southeast Missouri (9/14) … posted 71 yards against West Virginia on 12 carries (5.9 average) … averaged an incredible 10.4 yards per carry with 73 yards on just seven attempts with a touchdown in Mizzou’s 50-0 win over Southeast Missouri (9/14) … caught three passes for 42 yards and a touchdown in Mizzou’s SEC opener against South Carolina (9/21) … a key contributor to Mizzou’s 38-27 Homecoming win over Ole Miss, posting three catches for 69 yards, including the go-ahead second-quarter TD reception of 17 yards … had two catches for 82 yards, including a career-long 74-yard TD pass on a third-down screen play at Kentucky (10/26) … both of his catches against Tennessee (11/23) went for touchdowns as he posted 22 yards in the game while tallying his first career multi-receiving TD game … added a team-high 115 kick return yards on six attempts (19.2 average).
2018 (Freshman): Named to the SEC All-Freshman Team by league coaches ... ranked third on the team with his 809 all purpose yards in 12 games, including 437 rushing yards and two touchdowns (averaged 4.9 yards per carry) ... led all Tiger running backs with 130 receiving yards on 12 receptions, and served as MU's primary kickoff return man, averaging 22.0 yards on 11 attempts ... posted a career-high 142 all-purpose yards against Georgia (9/22), averaging 9.5 yards per touch with a rushing TD … followed that with 103 all-purpose yards at South Carolina (10/6) … Rushed for a season-high 61 yards and had 99 all-purpose yards at Purdue (9/15) in what was a breakout game for the true freshman … against Purdue, he accounted for 46 of Mizzou’s 68 total yards on its game winning drive in the fourth quarter, including a big 20-yard catch on second-and-long with Mizzou backed up deep in its own territory to start the drive ... had 45 yards at South Carolina (10/6), averaging 7.5 yards per carry in that game ... had 41 rushing yards on six carries at No. 1 Alabama (10/13), and also had 41 yards on the ground in MU's Homecoming win over Memphis (10/20) ... had one rush at Florida (11/3) that went for 18 yards early in the game, but he injured an ankle while being tackled, and could not play the rest of the game ... injury kept him out the next week versus Vanderbilt as well, but he returned to rush for 42 yards on five carries (8.4 average) in the regular-season finale against Arkansas (11/23).
High School: Speedster who brings exceptional speed and elusiveness to the position … 247Sports listed him a three-star running back prospect … played in the AutoZone High School All-Star Game … Tennessee Titans Division 2 Class AAA Mr. Football nominee … workhorse as a senior at Briarcrest, carrying the ball 193 times over 10 games, amassing 1,186 total yards (6.14 avg.) with 18 touchdowns … had six games of 100+ yards as a senior … guided Briarcrest to a 9-2 record and a state quarterfinal appearance … also hauled in 16 passes for 306 yards and three more scores … posted 400 yards on 40 carries with three scores as a junior in 2016 … also had 17 catches for 157 yards as a junior … also played basketball.Â
