- PerfectGame.org 2016 Underclass High Honorable Mention selection and 2017 Underclass Second Team All-American ... PerfectGame gave him a PG Grade of 10, given to potential very high draft picks and/or elite level college prospects

- Big-time pitching prospect who was expected to be off the board early in the 2018 MLB Draft
