REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE (2018-19)

Went 10-6 as a heavyweight during his redshirt sophomore season with all 16 bouts coming during tournament action
Improved his career record to 16-19 with five bonus-point wins (four major decisions and one technical fall)
Picked up a pair of major decisions and a technical fall among his 10 wins
Closed his season by winning seven of his final nine bouts with three bonus-point wins among the nine triumphs
Earned a fourth-place nod at the Missouri Valley Open, Feb. 2, where he went 5-2 over seven bouts
Earned a major decision 13-5 win over Chad Plaisted of Saint Mary and then pinned Ottawa’s Dalton Sikes to open the Missouri Valley Open, his first to bonus-point wins of the year

REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2017-18)

Went 6-13 in first season as an attached wrestler, making three starts at heavyweight in dual competition.
Made dual debut against Kent State’s Devin Nye at the South Beach Duals (Dec. 29), falling 3-2.
Placed sixth at the UNI Open (Dec. 9), picking up wins in his first two matches over Ellsworth’s Charles Griffin, 9-4, and South Dakota State’s Kevin Vough, 8-5.
Went 2-2 at the Lindenwood Open, Nov. 18, at heavyweight (Nov. 18), racking up major decision wins against Davenport’s David Tooley, 8-0, and Hannibal-LaGrange’s Nigel Burnett, 10-0.
Placed sixth at heavyweight at the Maryville Brand Kaufman Open (Nov. 11) following a 2-3 record.

FRESHMAN (2016-17)

Recorded only win of the season at the Roger Denker Open (Jan. 22), defeating teammate Jake Bohklen, 6-4.

LAFAYETTE HIGH SCHOOL (LAFAYETTE, LA.)

Finished his high school career with a 50-1 record and a third-place finish as senior at the Louisiana State Tournament.
Compiled a 178-35 prep career record.
Finished in third place as a sophomore and third place as junior at the Louisiana State Tournament.
Earned All-District Honors three times (2013-15).
Finished second at the 2016 Junior PanAm Championships in Greco-Roman and Freestyle Wrestling.
