2012 SEASON
Got his first taste of collegiate playing time as a redshirt freshman, seeing action in a pair of SEC games ... Got in for snaps in contests versus Kentucky and in the season finale at Texas A&M.
2011 SEASON
An early enrollee who joined the program for spring ball after graduating in December of 2010 from high school ... (Last name is pronounced BAWD-ee) ... Entered his first fall camp at Mizzou listed at third on the depth at right tackle ... Spent most of the spring not quite 100 percent, as he sustained a knee injury during his senior season which required surgery, but got out on the field and made good progress during the season.
HIGH SCHOOL
A three-year starter on the offensive line for a very successful prep program, and he joins former teammates Tristen Holt and Braylon Webb (who were part of MU's 2010 signing class) as Mizzou Tigers ... Ranked by ESPN.com as the nation's No. 79 overall prospect at offensive tackle ... Earned all-state honors as a senior, despite having his season cut short by an injury, and earned all-district distinction for three years in all ... Won 2nd-Team All-District honors as a junior when he helped lead his team to a 3A state championship ... Gilmer also played in the state championship game during his freshman year, and reached the semifinals during his sophomore season ... Also threw the shot put and discus for his school's track team, earning all-district honors in the sport ... High school coach - Jeff Traylor.
