2007: Making her 165th career start at first base in Missouri's May 20, NCAA Championship Regional Tournament game against DePaul, Renth closed out her junior campaign with 416 putouts, 22 double plays and a .991 fielding percentage. Equally as impressive at the plate, Renth recorded a team high 14 home runs to move to sixth in the Missouri career record book and fifth in the Tiger softball season record book. With a .588 slugging percentage, Renth owned the ninth highest average in the competitive Big 12 Conference and stood third in home runs and RBI (59). In addition, Renth was among the top 10 in the league with 32 walks. Demonstrating power with the bat, Renth went 2-for-3 against defending National Champion Arizona, March 2, with both hits clearing the fence for home runs. Renth's first home run was a three-run homer that gave Missouri its first lead of the game. The Tiger finished the three-day stint in Arizona with a .600 batting average, 2.00 slugging percentage and was intentionally walked six times. 3-for-5 against the Wildcats, Renth's third hit was a one run double in the sixth inning of game three. Later in the season, Renth again hit back-to-back home runs, this time at home against Western Illinois. The second of the two home runs, both hit in the fifth inning, marked Renth's fourth grand slam of her career. In Big 12 competition, Renth led the team with 11 RBI, with three notched in Missouri's April 21 game against No. 5 Texas A&M. Honors: All-Midwest Region, All-Big 12 First Team, Academic All-Big 12 First team, USA Softbal Player of the Year Top 25 Finalist.

2006: 2006 All-Big 12 honoree and Missouri first baseman Renth showed strength at the plate finishing the season with a .415 slugging percentage and second among her teammates with 31 RBI. Renth was named Co-Big 12 Player of the Week Feb. 14, marking the earliest point in the season that a Missouri softball player has been honored by the conference. Renth's recognition came after opening the season with a three-game series against then No. 24 Georgia Tech. Renth was 7-for-10 at the plate, launching two home runs in the Tigers' second game against the Yellow Jackets, Feb. 10. Renth's two-out homer in the first inning of game two helped the Tigers jump to an early 2-0 lead with her sixth inning shot securing a 3-0 advantage. Renth finished the season with 11 extra base hits. The only Tiger with five or more RBI in a game, Renth recorded six March 26 in game two against then No. 15 Oklahoma in Norman. 2-for-4, Renth began the game with a two out, two RBI double to left center, followed by her third career grand slam in the sixth inning, also notched with two outs on the board. From her work at first base, Renth collected 199 putouts, 11 assists and made only one error in the 49 games she played. On April 8, Renth became the first player in the nation in 2006 to manage two hits in a single game against Olympic Gold Medalist Cat Osterman of Texas. Renth owned the second-highest batting average of the Tigers against Big 12 opponents with a .367 mark that included 18 hits and 11 RBI. 2005: Missouri's primary starter at first base, Renth made her first career start Feb. 12, against Nicholls State at the Seminole Classic in Tallahassee, Fla., scoring her first run of the season in the fourth inning. Renth collected 253 putouts and 16 assists on the season and made 53 starts including 19 against ranked opponents. Renth finished the season with the third-most doubles (12) and fourth-most hits (47), RBI (35) and walks (16). Renth's first collegiate hit, a double, came against Nicholls State Feb. 11. One of two freshmen to crush a grand slam, Renth's first came March 12, at home against Drake with the second launched May 12 against Oklahoma State in Missouri's second game of the Big 12 Tournament. Renth notched a four-hit game Feb. 26 against Ball State at the Louisville Courtyard Red & Black Classic (two singles and two doubles). In Missouri's two-game series against ninth-ranked Oklahoma, Renth hit a one-out single to left field to drive in teammate Leanne Bowers for Mizzou's first run of the April 2 game at home. Renth was 2-of-3 in Missouri's second game against Iowa State in the April 6 doubleheader at home, crushing her fourth homer of the season over the wall in left field. Going two-of-three against Texas Tech, April 10, in Lubbock, Texas, Renth was credited with one RBI, and notched a season-high 11 putouts from her work at first base. Making her first NCAA Regional Tournament appearance, Renth swatted back-to-back singles in the first and second innings against Robert Morris. Honors: All-Big 12 Second Team.

Mascoutah: A four-time all-conference first team and all-area honoree, Renth was named to the All-Metro team as a senior in 2004. Renth played first and third base for the Mascoutah Indians under the leadership of Head Coach Pat Travous. The valedictorian of her senior class, Renth was a three-time most valuable player of her softball team and was a member of the honor roll earning a scholar athlete award in 2004. Renth was a dual-sport athlete and received four letters with the softball team and three with the golf team. Playing for the St. Louis Chaos club team, Renth and her teammates took third place at the Colorado Fireworks Tournament.

Personal: Amanda Renth was born June 6, 1986, to parents Craig and Cindy Renth in Mascoutah, Ill. Renth has one brother, Erik (17) and is a biomedical engineering major.
