
Tiger Style Wrestling Adds Missouri Native Zan Fugitt

COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou wrestling signed NCAA All-American transfer Zan Fugitt with two years of eligibility remaining, announced head coach Brian Smith on Tuesday, April 21. Fugitt, a Nixa, Missouri native, returns home after spending the last three seasons at Wisconsin.

Fugitt joins Tiger Style as a two-time NCAA qualifier and 2025 All-American, finishing fourth at 133 pounds in Philadelphia. He holds a 52-22 overall record in his collegiate career and 28-10 in dual matches. The Missouri native is a two-time NWCA Scholar All-American and Academic Big 12 honoree and was selected as a 2025 InterMat First Team All-Freshman. Additionally, Fugitt has competed internationally as well, winning the 2025 U23 Pan-American Championships at 61 kg.
The three-time Missouri State Champion went 50-1 in his senior season and set a record at Nixa High School for career wins with 184. Fugitt was ranked as high as fifth at 120 pounds by FloWrestling as a recruit.
