
Track & Field’s Skylar Ciccolini Named SEC Co-Field Athlete of the Week

The graduate student collects the second weekly conference honor of her career.
COLUMBIA, Mo. — Missouri track and field's Skylar Ciccolini (Lewistown, Pa.) was named the Southeastern Conference Co-Field Athlete of the Week, the league office announced on Tuesday afternoon.
Ciccolini claimed the women's javelin title at the Yellow Jacket Invitational with a personal-best throw of 57.45m (188-6). The mark improved her own No. 3 all-time performance in program history and currently ranks first in Division I this season.
The honor marks Ciccolini's second career SEC weekly award after earning SEC Women's Freshman of the Week on April 20, 2021. She becomes the fourth SEC Women's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week in program history and the first since Sophia Rivera on March 21, 2023.
Missouri continues its outdoor season this weekend at the Raleigh Relays on March 26 and 27 at the Paul H. Derr Track Facility hosted by NC State in Raleigh, N.C.
