TOP TIGERS
In Boston, junior Drew Rogers broke his own school record in the 3000m run by five-and-a-half seconds, placing second in 7:48.11 behind Wisconsin's Matan Ivri. Rogers' previous best was 7:53.61 set a year ago in winning the SEC Indoor Championships in College Station, Texas.
In the same race, junior Ryder James won his heat and placed 38th overall with a time of 8:00.51, breaking his personal best by more than six-and-a-half seconds. His time stands as the fourth-best ever at Mizzou.
In Fayetteville, senior Dillon Leacock ran a personal-best 47.61 in the 400m dash for the 9th best time ever at MU. Junior Sam Innes was 10th in the weight throw (21.83m/71-7.5).
Action for the Tigers will continue at both locations on Saturday.
