COLUMBIA, Mo. – Seven University of Missouri soccer athletes attended the 2025 Ultimate Training Camp from May 25-31 in Fort Collins, Colorado.
Junior goalkeeper Kate Phillips, redshirt sophomore midfielder Morgan Schaefer, junior defender Shania Spriggs, junior forward Brianna Buels, freshman defender Ava Lamothe, freshman Landry Hopkins and freshman Addison Colangelo.
Ultimate Training Camp is an annual high-intensity camp where college athletes find freedom and purpose through the integration of God, life, and sport.
"Ultimate Training Camp was such an awesome experience and something that I will cherish forever," Phillips said. "There is nothing else like it where hundreds of Christian athletes get to spend a week worshiping God. I was able to connect two huge things in my life soccer and Christianity. With the guidance from those at camp, I have found my why outside of sport which is God. I will forever be grateful for attending UTC and all the people I was able to meet while there."
The camp is focused on five principles, audience of one: who or what do I worship?, inside game: what motivates me?, holy sweat: how do I grow?, better > bitter: how do I deal with suffering?, victory beyond competition: how do I live for God's Kingdom instead of my kingdom?
Missouri will begin the 2025 season at home against South Dakota State on August 14th. Admission is free to all home games.
