Junior Addie Dobson of the University of Missouri women's golf team was honored for her work off the course on Friday, earning a spot on the SEC Community Service Team.
Earning the distinction for the second time in her career, Dobson has led the Tigers in their outreach efforts. During the 2024-25 academic year, Dobson totaled nearly 40 hours of community service time, while accumulating more than 60 hours during her Mizzou career. Among the organizations that Dobson worked with were Mobility WorldWide – which proves accessibility carts to third-world countries – the Special Olympics of Missouri and Columbia Public Schools.
On the course, Dobson played in 27 rounds during the 2024-25 season – the most of her career. She tallied a 76.22 stroke average, setting her career-best 18-hole and 54-hole scores with the first top-10 of her collegiate tenure at the Marilynn Smith Sunflower Showdown.
Dobson also helped the Tigers raise their national ranking to No. 64 this season – the team's best in seven years and an improvement of 56 spots since she arrived on campus in 2022.
