Dyer Captures Silver, Bronze at USA Diving National Championships

Mizzou All-American earns medals in both 1- and 3-meter diving events.

University of Missouri All-American Collier Dyer earned a pair of medals at the 2025 USA Diving National Championships this week in Auburn, Alabama, earning the bronze in the 1-meter event Monday and the silver Thursday in the 3-meter competition.

Dyer, the native of Lone Tree, Colorado, and competing unattached, posted a score of 740.70 on the 1-meter, placing him third behind Lyle Yost (766.70) of Shaker Heights, Ohio, and Nick Harris (745.45) of Chester Springs, Pennsylvania.

On Thursday, Dyer took second on the 3-meter with 894.70 points, just behind champion Max Flory, from the University of Miami, who edged the All-American Tiger with 922 points. Dyer briefly held the lead after scoring 85.75 points on a reverse 3 ½ tuck in the third round, but Flory went back ahead in the next round and didn't relinquish his advantage.

Dyer, who just completed his junior season at Mizzou, was a second-team All-American in the 1-meter in 2024 and earned honorable-mention All-American honors in the same event this past season.
