The two Tigers are the first in program history to represent the 3000m and triple jump in an SEC first team recognition.
COLUMBIA, Mo. – University of Missouri track and field's Jonathan Seremes and Drew Rogers have been named to All-Southeastern Conference First Team, the league office announced Tuesday afternoon.
This marks the first time in program history that a triple jump and 3000m athlete have been named for the honor in the same season. It is also the third season a male athlete has been selected as a member of the All-SEC First Team for the indoor campaign.
Seremes and Rogers claimed the award after winning their respective event championships at the 2025 SEC Indoor Championships on March 1. Seremes topped the chart for the triple jump with a result of 16.97m (55-8.25), shattering his previous school record and establishing the best indoor collegiate triple jump since the 2023 SEC Indoor Championship.
Rogers secured the title for the 3000m in a last-second comeback finish, notching a program-best time of 7:53.61 and surpassing his previous record by 2.39 seconds. The junior adds the recognition to his recent accolade of All-SEC Second Team after the 2024 SEC Cross Country Championships in November.
Missouri track and field will now set its sights on the NCAA Indoor Championships, which will begin on Thursday, March 13 at Virginia Beach Sports Center in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
