Mizzou women's golf's Ebba Liljeberg has been named Southeastern Conference Freshman of the Week, as announced by the league office on Wednesday.
The accolade comes after the record-breaking performance from Liljeberg, who won the Sam Golden Invitational with a 19-under 197 and led Missouri to the team tournament victory with a 40-under 824 (281-271-272). The team score marked a program best and was the first tournament win for the Tigers since 2022.
In her first collegiate competition, Liljeberg carded an 11-under second round, which tied the lowest round in relative-to-par in NCAA history.
Liljeberg's final score and overall strokes also set a new program-best for a tournament.
