Wrestling Earns Program Best Eight NWCA Scholar All-Americans

The National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) unveiled its 2024-25 Scholar All-Americans on April 2, honoring eight University of Missouri wrestlers.

COLUMBIA, Mo - The National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) unveiled its 2024-25 Scholar All-Americans on April 2, honoring eight University of Missouri wrestlers.

The eight honorees mark a program best after totaling seven scholars in 2021 and 2023. Additionally, its the sixth consecutive year the Tigers have had at least five recipients. 

These exceptional student-athletes have excelled both on the mat and in the classroom, meeting one of the following criteria:

  • All nominees are determined by the academic records returned and the results in TrackWrestling. 
  • Top 8 and 3.00 GPA
  • National Qualifier and 3.2 GPA
  • Conference qualifier and 3.5 GPA
  • 15 matches with a 60% win record and a 3.5 GPA

Freshmen Jarrett Stoner (Undeclared) and Gage Walker (Health Science), along with redshirt sophomores Cam Steed (Parks, Rec, Sport & Tourism) and Easton Hilton (Nutrition & Exercise Phys) and junior Josh Edmond (Educ-School-Couns Psych) earn the accolade for the first time in their careers. Collecting the honor for the second time is redshirt sophomore J Conway and redshirt junior Logan Gioffre (Educ-School-Couns Psych). Senior Keegan O'Toole (Business) becomes Missouri's first five-time NWCA Scholar All-American to close out his career.
