Volleyball Concludes 2025 Spring Season Saturday against Kansas State

COLUMBIA, Mo. - University of Missouri volleyball will conclude its 2025 spring season this weekend in Overland Park, Kansas, as the Tigers will compete against Kansas State Saturday. The contest will be free and open to the public.

The match will be hosted at Advent Health Sports Park at Bluhawk (16201 Shawnee Drive, Overland Park, Kansas, 66223). Doors open at 12 p.m., CT with first serve set for 1 p.m.

Concessions will be available at Advent Health Sports Park at Bluhawk. Purchases can be made with credit or debit cards only.

This weekend's match will mark the Tigers' fourth and final challenge of the spring season.

Dawn Sullivan will compete against her alma mater this weekend. 

Sullivan was a standout player at K-State from 1996-99, helping lead the Wildcats to their first-ever NCAA Tournament appearance in 1996 – the first of four straight during her playing career. She earned second-team All-America honors in 1999 and was inducted into the Wildcats' Athletics Hall of Fame in 2016.

Mizzou went 22-9 (11-5 SEC) in the 2024 season. Head coach Dawn Sullivan has guided the Tigers to the NCAA Tournament in each of her two seasons in Columbia, including a run to the NCAA Sweet 16 in this past season's tournament. Sullivan, named 2024 AVCA Central Region Coach of the Year, is 40-22 in two seasons at Mizzou and 149-60 overall as a head coach.

The Tigers will return 2024 AVCA All-American and back-to-back SEC Libero of the Year Maya Sands alongside 2024 All-SEC setter Marina Crownover. Both Sands and Crownover also earned AVCA Central All-Region honors.

MU has picked up four transfers in the spring including Trinity LuckettCaylen AlexanderGrace O'Reilly, and Tyrah Ariail along with freshman setter Taylor Cook. Four of Missouri's five signees from signing day have also joined the Tigers for the spring 2025 semester.
