COLUMBIA, Mo. – No. 16 University of Missouri wrestling is set to return to the mats for the Cougar Clash tournament, hosted by SIUE in Edwardsville, Illinois on Dec. 7 at 10 a.m. 

The Tigers earned a second-place finish at last year's competition (143.5 points), showcasing their skill and determination on the mat. Redshirt junior Josh Edmond (141) and senior Rocky Elam (197) had standout performances, each securing a spot at the top of the podium.

Edmond secured first place with a perfect 3-0 record at 141 pounds, while Elam also took first, finishing 4-0 at 197 pounds. Redshirt juniors Nate Pulliam (149), Joel Mylin (149), and Colton Hawks (184), along with redshirt sophomore Cam Steed (165), all placed second in their respective weight classes. 

Overall, Mizzou had a strong showing at the Cougar Clash last year, with 12 wrestlers earning placement at the event. The Tigers are sending 14 wrestlers this season with a complete list available below. Admission into the Cougar Clash at First Community Arena is free for all fans.
