
Women's Basketball Welcomes Saint Louis to Mizzou Arena

COLUMBIA, Mo. – University of Missouri women's basketball begins a two-game homestand at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday against in-state foe Saint Louis. The contest will stream live on SEC Network+.
Missouri is coming off a commanding 20-point win over Western Illinois on Friday.
Sophomore Abbey Schreacke led the Tigers with a career-high 26 points off the bench, highlighted by 24 points from beyond the arc, as she sank a career-best eight 3-pointers.
Schreacke has led Missouri in points off the bench in every contest this season and ranks fourth in 3-point percentage (48.7) and second in 3-point makes per game (3.8).
As a team, the Tigers are second in the conference in 3-point percentage at 41.0 percent.
Sophomore guard Grace Slaughter contributed 14 points while shooting 80 percent from the field and totaled six rebounds.
Senior Laniah Randle nabbed 11 points, her fourth time reaching double-digits this season. The senior also notched nine rebounds in the contest.
Nyah Wilson rounded out the scoring with 10 points, her most in a Missouri uniform.
The Tigers had four players with double-digit scoring outputs on Friday which marked the first time doing so since March 3, 2024.
Defensively, graduate forward Angelique Ngalakulondi ranks fifth in the conference with 2.0 blocks per contest.
Wednesday's matchup will mark the 28th meeting all-time between the two in-state programs. Missouri leads the series 25-2, including a perfect 13-0 all-time home record against the Billikens.
Saint Louis enters the contest at 2-2 following a loss at Southern Indiana on Sunday.
The Billikens finished last season at 22-18 and claimed the WNIT title with a victory over Minnesota.
Saint Louis is coached by Rebecca Tillett who is in her third season on the sidelines with a 41-38 record. Tillett has a career record of 92-106 after four seasons at Longwood.
The Billikens roster is headlined by graduate Peyton Kennedy who is averaging 19.8 points and 4.3 rebounds.
Freshman Shun'teria Anumele is contributing 12.3 points per contest.
Overall, Saint Louis has four players averaging double-digits in the scoring column.
