FARGO, N.D. - No. 7-ranked Missouri wrestling travels north, taking on North Dakota State on Friday, Feb. 16. The match is set to start at 7 p.m. CT and can be streamed on NDSU All Access.

LAST TIME OUT 

  • The Tigers dropped their second consecutive dual, a 24-10 loss to No. 3 Oklahoma State on Sunday, Feb. 4.
  • Junior Rocky Elam earned the lone bonus point victory for the Tigers with a 8-0 major decision. 
  • Classmate Keegan O'Toole (14-0) and redshirt senior Zach Elam (18-0) each took home decision wins to keep their undefeated records in tact this season.

ALL-TIME VS. NORTH DAKOTA STATE 

  • The matchup between Mizzou and North Dakota State will mark the seventh meeting between the programs. 
  • The Tigers hold the all-time advantage over the Bison with a 6-0-0 record, with all six Missouri wins coming by double-digits. 
  • Additonally, Mizzou has outscored NDSU 187-42 in total team points across the six matches.

LAST TIME VS. THE BISON

  • In the last dual between the teams, Mizzou clinched a 28-11 win, taking seven of 10 bouts in the match. 
  • Missouri earned three bonus-point victories, including two falls with Allan Hart (0:26) and Peyton Mocco (3:20) at 141 and 174 pounds, respectively.
  • Colton Hawks added a major decision, 11-2, at 184 pounds. 

KEEGAN'S KITCHEN

  • Junior Keegan O'Toole is cooking this season, having defeated three top-10 opponents in Mizzou's last three matches. 
  • O'Toole holds a 14-0 record with 11 bonus-point wins. 
  • The junior most recently defeated No. 3 Izzak Olejnik of Oklahoma State by decision, 5-1. 
  • The two-time National Champion also defeated No. 4 Julian Ramirez by major decision (13-5) and No. 9 Peyton Hall (8-7) by decision.  

DEPENDABLE DOMINANCE  

  • Leading the team in wins with a 18-0 record this season, redshirt senior Zach Elam is taking advantage of his last year in Black and Gold. 
  • Elam was tabbed fifth on the NCAA's recent Most Dominant Wrestler rankings, averaging 4.5 team points per match this season with a minimum of 16 matches wrestled. 
  • Of the senior's 18 wins, 10 have been bonus-point victories: seven falls and three technical falls. 
  • The seven pins from the Kansas City native leads the team and marks a single-season high, besting the six he earned his freshman season (2018-19).

MILESTONE MAULLER

  • Redshirt senior Brock Mauller has totaled 113 career wins at Mizzou and is tied at 15th all-time in program history with Brent Haynes.  
  • The Columbia, Missouri native needs two wins to pass Joey Lavallee (114). With seven more victories, Mauller can move into the top 10 all-time with 120.
