COLUMBIA, Mo. – Numerous Missouri baseball lettermen are gearing up for the 2024 season by competing in summer collegiate leagues throughout the country. All members of the Tigers' 2023 squad have concluded their summer campaigns.
Updates tracking the Tigers' summer progress are chronicled below.

Summer Notebook
August 3
Appalachian League: Jack Mosh (Greeneville) finished his summer with a bang, going 14-for-23 (.609) over his final five games to hike his summer average to .357; Mosh earned an Appy League All-Star selection, finishing the campaign with the second-highest OBP (.472) and the fourth-best batting mark in the circuit.
Cape Cod Baseball League: Justin Colon (Wareham) completed his summer on the Cape in style, registering hits in nine of his last 11 games (July 20-Aug. 2); the junior infielder hit .353 over the same stretch to raise his summer batting mark to .263 (20-for-76) in 27 games with the Gatemen.
Northwoods League: Jackson Beaman (Bismarck) wrapped up his stint in the Northwoods with a torrid July stretch, hitting .560 (14-for-25) over his last seven games with the Larks; the sophomore outfielder concluded his summer with a .292 average, .571 slugging percentage, 10 homers and 37 RBIs.
July 18
Appalachian League: Cam Careswell (Princeton) ranks fourth in the Appy in walks (22) and eighth in RBIs (21)...Jack Mosh (Greeneville) ranks right on Careswell's heels with his 20 walks, while batting .293 with a .441 on-base percentage for the Flyboys, the latter of which is good for 12th in the circuit.
Cape Cod Baseball League: Javyn Pimental has recorded 22 strikeouts to rank 12th among all Cape Cod hurlers this summer; the left-hander has allowed just 21 hits over his 26.0 innings for Brewster...Justin Colon has hits in each of his last two games for Wareham and also logged a scoreless inning of relief on the mound last weekend for the Gatemen.
NECBL: Matt Garcia wrapped up his stay with the Valley Blue Sox hitting .269 with 11 RBIs in 22 games, including a 3-for-3 effort on July 5; the middle infielder recorded hits in seven of his final nine contests.
Northwoods League: Jackson Beaman (Bismarck) has multi-hit performances in four of the Larks' last five games, hitting .524 with three homers and 11 RBIs over the same stretch (July 12-16); Beaman, who is tied for second in the Northwoods with his nine home runs on the summer, homered twice and drove in six runs in a 19-13 victory over Minot on Friday...Brock Daniels (Battle Creek) has registered back-to-back multi-hit games (July 15-16) for the Battle Jacks and is hitting .270 with a club-best 41 hits in 41 games this summer.
July 7
Appalachian League: Jack Mosh (Greeneville) is hitting .359 for the Flyboys, good for second overall in the Appy, while his .506 OBP is the top figure in the league...Cam Careswell (Princeton) has driven in 17 runs to rank second on the Whistle Pigs through 21 games.
Northwoods League: Jackson Beaman (Bismarck) has hits in four consecutive games, including back-to-back two-hit performances in his last two outings...Brock Daniels (Battle Creek) has a team-high 31 hits in 33 contests for the Battle Jacks.
June 28
Appalachian League: Nic Smith wrapped up his time with Bristol this week, finishing the campaign with a 1-1 mound mark, 5.54 ERA and 17 strikeouts over 13 innings...Jack Mosh is hitting .367 with a home run, eight RBIs and two stolen bases in 16 games for Greeneville...Cam Careswell has registered a .358 on-base percentage and 12 RBIs in 14 games for Princeton...Jackson Lovich has homered and driven in five runs in his first nine games for Pulaski.
Cape Cod Baseball League: Javyn Pimental ranks 10th in the Cape in strikeouts (14) and 11th in ERA (1.20) after allowing just two earned runs on seven hits over 15.0 innings...Justin Colon has hit .294 through his first seven games for Wareham.
Northwoods League: Brock Daniels has logged nine multi-hit performances and 11 steals in the month of June for Battle Creek; he is hitting .298 with 13 RBIs on the season.
June 20
Appalachian League: Nic Smith leads Bristol with 15 strikeouts after fanning eight and allowing just one hit over 4.0 innings vs. Burlington on June 17...Jack Mosh has gone 4-for-10 at the plate for Greeneville over his last four games and ranks fourth in the league in hitting (.423)...Cam Careswell has logged five hits in his last 16 at-bats and is hitting .275 for Princeton...Aiden Heberlie ranks fifth in the Appy in hitting (.412) after going 2-for-2 with a walk and two runs scored for Bristol on Sunday.
Cape Cod Baseball League: Javyn Pimental has logged 11 K's while allowing just four hits over his first 10.0 innings of the summer for Brewster...Trevor Austin recorded three straight multi-hit performances as part of a five-game hit streak for Brewster.
MLB Draft League: Jacob Hasty has struck out 11 batters while registering a 3.00 ERA in five outings spanning 6.0 innings for Williamsport.
NECBL: Juju Stevens has registered hits in four of his five games with Mystic, hitting .333 with five runs scored to date.
Northwoods League: Jackson Beaman shares the NWL lead in home runs (5) to go along with his .270 average and 16 RBIs...Brock Daniels leads Battle Creek with and ranks among the Northwoods leaders with 10 RBIs, nine runs scored, four doubles and 23 hits on the season.
